Q: How do I access
photos, floorplans and additional information?
A: You must be a registered user to access the secure portion
of this site, which includes additional photographs and downloads.
Registration is limited to qualified clients, event planners,
production companies and vendors. Click on user
registration to submit your information online or call us
at 310/392-8844.
Q: How far in advance do I need
to book for an event?
A: It really depends on the nature of the event. Please
call us.
Q: How do I reserve hangar space,
the ramp way, interior office space, etc.?
A: Contact one of our representatives at the specific location for the detailed information you will need to get started.

Q: What is the maximum
occupant capacity for Hangar:8?
A: Depends on your layout and use, generally 1,100 is the
maximum for standing and 800 for a seated dinner. These numbers
are reduced by staging, large decorations and other items which
reduce the floor space. All occupancy loads are subject to approval
by the Santa Monica Fire and Building and Safety departments.

Q: What is the ceiling height?
A: 30 foot clear span.
Q: What is the main door opening width?
A: 90 foot main door opening.
Q: What power is available in HANGAR:8?
A: 120v, & 208v, 3-phase + 2 generator cable access parts,
house lights are provided.

Q: Does North Field Properties
supply any equipment?
A: Our Hangar:8/North Field Properties has a 30 foot genie
boom and other industrial equipment available for rent. We do not supply lighting, grip, electrical or decor.
Q: Am I required to use special vendors
or rent additional equipment from
you?
A: No, we reserve the right to approve vendors for security
and quality purposes, but generally you can make your own dest
deals with your favorite vendors.
Q: What about permits? How
and where do I get them?
A: For airport and fire permits, contact Kurt
Sebesta at our North Field location. You as the customer
are responsible to acquire any needed permits from the city or
police department, though we will coordinate all permits for events/filming occuring on our property.
Q: What, if any, type of security
is available at the locations?
A: Santa Monica Airport has a dedicated 24 hour airport police
force. We can refer you to private security specialists we know
and trust. If you prefer to use a security vendor we are not familiar
with, we will need to thoroughly screen and approve them prior
to allowing them access to our property.
Q: Can you provide us with a list of local
vendors?
A: North Field Properties will assistant your company in any way we can to assure your event runs smoothly. We do have a list of local vendors available for your convenience.
Q: Are there dressing and restrooms
or will we be expected to supply our own?
A: North Field Properties has (2) dressing and (2) restrooms
located in Hangar:8 for your convenience. Larger events and productions
will need to bring in additional facilities.
Q: What about a telephone line?
A: North Field Properties can have a direct telephone line installed in HANGAR:8. This is a perfect convenience for your lap top and modem usage.
Q: Are there any additional costs?
A: We will require at least one of our site representatives
to be present at all time you are on the property. Additional
site representatives may be required for large crews, during load-in,
events or high traffic times. A site representative fee schedule
is available. Addtionally, your filming or event permit may require
police, fire and/or security personel provided by the City of
Santa Monica or others, at your expense.
